The Bellinge data set: open data and models for community-wide urban drainage systems research

Abstract. This paper describes a comprehensive and unique open-access data set for research within hydrological hydraulic modelling of urban drainage systems. The come from mainly combined system covering 1.7 km2 area in the town Bellinge, suburb city Odense, Denmark. consists up to 10 years observations (2010–2020) 13 level meters, 1 flow meter, position sensor 4 power sensors system, along with rainfall three rain gauges two weather radars (X- C-band), meteorological nearby station. characteristics (information about manholes, pipes, etc.) can be found surface (contour lines, description, etc.). Two detailed hydrodynamic, distributed models are provided software systems MIKE URBAN EPA Storm Water Management Model (SWMM). simulation generally show similar responses, but systematic differences present since have not been calibrated.
